We're converting much of our lawn into gardens. After the blisters and backaches of removing sod with shovels, we decided to rent a Quail Sod Cutter. Wow, What a difference!!! I purchased an SC12 early last summer (2012) and have used it to prepare several flower and garden beds as well as for planting about thirty fruit and shade trees. It cuts sod precisely and consistently with very reasonable effort (I am a 61 year old weekend gardener). The blade remains sharp and in correct adjustment after this busy summer and fall. The SC12 is not only a very functional tool but a beautiful work of art for us tool lovers.

I just wanted to send you and your staff a big thank you.

On Monday May 24 I ordered a 12" cutter that I was planning to use over the Memorial Day weekend. I received the cutter via UPS on Friday May 28, and was using it Saturday morning. The unit performed flawlessly. I finished what would have been an all day job in less than two hours.

Had you not taken the extra effort to get my cutter shipped on a rush basis I would have lost the entire weekend.
